5:30 - one hour swim workout
7:30 - 1 mile hike on Cowles Mountain. Quads still worn out and my hip is a little achy.
Yeah, I know - I haven't run since January 1 of this year, but I'm hoping to run again - possibly when January 1 rolls around again, because that would be 6 months after my hip surgery on July 2 of this year. Consider the following to be PREPARATION for actual running.
