Yeah, I know - I haven't run since January 1 of this year, but I'm hoping to run again - possibly when January 1 rolls around again, because that would be 6 months after my hip surgery on July 2 of this year. Consider the following to be PREPARATION for actual running.

3 mile walk alone on Cowles Mountain at sunset. I took it easy except for some springing up some of the steeper single-track sections on the backside of the mountain.
